I saw you.  Well, through this thing called an ultrasound.  Your dad works all night at the hospital sometimes, so when I go to visit him, he brings me in so I can see you.  You have less than 10 weeks left, Lord willing, to grow in there but wow how you have grown, Gracie.  It has been a few months since I saw you last and you are SO big!  You barely have room to move now.  No wonder I SEE you move in my belly from the outside these days.  I see your little rear, your elbows, your feet and your head push on my belly all day long.  It’s pretty funny sometimes.  Seeing you on the ultrasound is truly amazing.  I can’t help but talk to you when I see you.  You are so cute already!  You have really big full lips and your dad’s nose and chin from what we can see.  We watched you open your eyes and suckle with your lips.  Such seemingly small things, but wow they lit my heart on fire!  You always have one hand up in the air like you are always throwing us high fives.  You are so beautiful.  And funny.  Your dad’s pager went off and you jumped so much I thought you would come right through my belly!  I love you so much, Grace.  I’ve been thinking a lot this week, as I’ve been making the magazine, about the last 30 weeks that you’ve been growing in me.  Time is starting to fly by.  I have so much to share with you soon.   It’s been 30 weeks of pure grace from God above.  Truly, I just can’t begin to give enough thanks for the blessings your dad and I have felt.  So much goodness has come to our lives since you appeared.  I never thought I’d hear myself say these words, but all I can think this week -over and over- is…  I’m so ready and grateful and blessed to be your mom.
P.S. This picture was last weekend when your Grandma Celia and Grandpa David came to see us.  They will be here when you arrive and can’t wait to meet you soon, too!
